The performance artist, who was born in Switzerland, lives in Düsseldorf and has a degree in psychology. She became known in 2013 with her performance “The Script System”, a naked tram ride through Düsseldorf. She later gained further attention when, following the attacks on women and girls during the New Year's Eve celebrations at Cologne Cathedral in 2015, she performed in the Cathedral forecourt with the slogan “Respect us! We are not fair game, even if we are naked!!!” as a protest.

Although sexuality and provocation partly also play a role in her acts, Moiré has been included in this natury list: thanks to the self-confident, unclothed appearance of the artist in public, many of her performances are suitable for encouraging or strengthening the viewers' courage for social nudity.
